About this city

Daegu gets skipped by most nomads, which is exactly why the ones who stop love it — Korea's fourth city has proper coffee culture, a walkable downtown, and rents that make Seoul look like a prank.

Summers are famously hot (locals call it 'Daefrica' — we didn't make that up), so come in spring or fall. KTX puts you in Seoul in under two hours.
